At The Herriot Gallery there will be a core body of work by local artists, supplemented every 2 months or so by an exhibition of work by a featured artist. At the opening of an exhibition we will hold a preview evening at which the artist will be present to talk about their work . Brian Alderman lives and works as an artist in Burtersett, near to Hawes in Wensleydale. His opening exhibition at the Herriot Gallery will be titled “A Year In Wensleydale”, reflecting Brian’s dedication to painting local landscapes outdoors in all seasons and also the fact that he has now lived in Wesnleydale for a year, having moved from Scotland. |
